Helloooo! This weekend marked 2 weeks out from the Bikini Olympia!

Things are starting to come together and I’m so excited!! I first included the posing videos, but YouTube decided that it was too much glutes and I had to remove that part!

Weight is down to 129.5. After talking with my coach, Kim Oddo, my target stage weight should be around 129… so, we’re there!

This week I am edging down on the intensity and increasing the volume in my workouts. The reason for this is cortisol – as a lifetime natural athlete, it’s important to be aware of cortisol. The stress hormone can quickly strip muscle and make the body look watery. So, knowing when to ease off of the intensity can make a huge difference in a physique!

Calories are at 1570, with 150P/30F/170C each day. I don’t like dropping below 1600 calories ever, so we’ll see how my progress goes this week. Hopefully I continue to drop body fat and I won’t need to drop calories any further. As always, I’ll keep you posted on this!

For this session, I’m at MI40 gym, doing a glutes and legs workout. Today’s workout was:
Intense (1 exercise):
Barbell hip thrusts, pause reps 4×8

Volume (4 exercises):
Barbell hip thrust frog stance 2×20-25
Smith machine good mornings 4×12-15
Smith machine Zercher squat 4×12-15
Banded abductor burnout 3×30 lean back/30 upright/30 forward lean

If there’s something specific you’d like to see in these videos, please let me know! I plan on getting behind the scenes video of the competitions and sharing as much of this journey as possible!
