In this new series, I’ll go over my contest prep for both the Sacramento Pro and the Bikini Olympia.
This includes current calories, macros, training split, cardio, mindset, posing, and changes made from week to week.
Sacramento Pro is 5 weeks away, and Bikini Olympia is 9 weeks away.
My current caloric intake is 2,300 at 180P/300C/40F. I’m getting at least 10K steps per day, doing HIIT 2x per week, and lifting 4-5x per week. I practice posing daily.
The goal is to drop around 1% of body weight per week, as this will help to ensure that the weight lost is mostly fat.
Any weight loss that’s greater than 1% of body weight runs the risk of both muscle loss and of slowing the metabolism if the large deficit is sustained over a period of time.
