In this series, I’ll go over my contest prep for both the Sacramento Pro and the Bikini Olympia.
This includes current calories, macros, training split, cardio, mindset, posing, and changes made from week to week. Sacramento Pro is 4 weeks away, and Bikini Olympia is 8 weeks away.
My caloric intake was 2,300 at 180P/300C/40F last week. This week it’s 2,180 at 180P/270C/40F. Weight is down to 132.6 from 134 last week. For this training session, I’m at Gold’s Gym in Ocala, and my mom recorded the training videos for me 🙂
For this video, I’m taking you through one of my glute workouts!
I’m getting between 10k-12k steps per day. Glute training is 3-4x per week, upper body 1x week, and HIIT 2x week. I practice posing daily. I keep the goal of weight loss of 1% of body weight per week, as this will help to ensure that the weight lost is mostly fat.
Any weight loss that’s greater than 1% of body weight runs the risk of both muscle loss and of slowing the metabolism if the large deficit is sustained over a period of time. If there’s something specific you’d like to see in these videos, please let me know!
