Heyyyyy!

This weekend marked 1 week from the Sacramento Pro and 5 weeks from the Bikini Olympia…

I hit a major setback in regards to my health and after talking with Kim Oddo, my coach, we have decided not to do the Sacramento Pro.

This show was meant to be a tune-up show to get feedback and stage time and we didn’t want to show up at less than 100%.

I’m both disappointed and relieved. Weight is fluctuating like crazy now.

It bounces between 136 and 130!

I know that everything will regulate within the next couple of weeks.

My calories are now at 1660 with 150P/40F/170C.

I’m still getting close to 15K steps on non-training days, and between 10-12K on training days.

I only lifted twice this week and didn’t do HIIT. In addition to my hormones being out of balance, I wasn’t feeling well and needed to back off of training and lower the intensity.

For this session, I’m at Optimum Gym and am working on mobility.

This is so important even if you don’t compete!

I practice posing daily.

I still keep the goal of weight loss of 1% of body weight per week, as this will help to ensure that the weight lost is mostly fat.

Any weight loss that’s greater than 1% of body weight runs the risk of both muscle loss and of slowing the metabolism if the large deficit is sustained over a period of time!

If there’s something specific you’d like to see in these videos, please let me know!

I plan on getting behind the scenes video of the competitions and sharing as much of this journey as possible!

Thank you for watching! Please consider subscribing and joining the Fit Fam 🙂
