Hey!

So nice to see you here 🙂

We’re at 3 weeks from the Sacramento Pro and 7 weeks from the Bikini Olympia!

I hit a plateau this week and have adjusted training and diet accordingly. It’s not uncommon to hit plateaus when prepping.

The key is to only change 1-2 variables, as more changes can either exacerbate the issue or cause confusion as to what change was actually effective.

Thankfully, decreasing training frequency and caloric intake helped me get back on track! Last week, caloric intake was 2,180 at 180P/270C/40F.

Weight is down from 132.6 to 131.8. For this training session, I’m at MI40 gym. I’m doing glutes/legs and some posing practice! I’m getting between 10k-15k steps per day. Glute training is 3x per week currently, no upper body training this week, and HILIIT 2x week.

I practice posing daily.

I keep the goal of weight loss of 1% of body weight per week, as this will help to ensure that the weight lost is mostly fat.

Any weight loss that’s greater than 1% of body weight runs the risk of both muscle loss and of slowing the metabolism if the large deficit is sustained over a period of time.

If there’s something specific you’d like to see in these videos, please let me know!

I plan on getting behind the scenes video of the competitions and sharing as much of this journey as possible!
